Managers have a business opportunity to improve performance management by improving the performance appraisal process If you have a performance appraisal process at this time, it probably is ineffective, unliked, considered unfair, and is an administrative burden trying to survey arbitrary skills that are not aligned with corporate goals. By the way, it also measures training effectiveness and supports Return On Training Investment (ROTI) business management reports. It's called the Skills Management Process (SMP) and it is one of the performance management tools included in the Society's Study Guide.
